VROOOM VROOOM
Vrooom Vrooom is a two-CD live set from King Crimson, drawn from performances recorded in 1995 and 1996 and released on 13 November 2001. It captures the six-piece "double trio" line-up: guitarists Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew, bassists Tony Levin and Trey Gunn, and drummers Bill Bruford and Pat Mastelotto. It gathers material first issued in 1999 in more limited forms, bringing it to a wider audience.
The first disc is built largely from the recordings behind Live in Mexico City, once available only as a download. It also includes "Biker Babes of the Rio Grande", an alternative take on "Fearless and Highly Thrakked". The second disc draws mostly on On Broadway, which came out through the Collectors' Club. Together they document the band in the period of THRAK, between that album and The ConstruKction of Light.
