EleKtriK
EleKtriK: Live in Japan is a live album by King Crimson, recorded in Tokyo on 16 April 2003 and released on 15 December 2003 on Discipline Global Mobile. It draws most of its material from the soundtrack of the first disc of the band's double live DVD, Eyes Wide Open, so it works as an audio companion to that film.
It arrived in the same year as The Power to Believe, the most recent studio album in the band's catalogue at that point, and it catches this English progressive rock group on stage during that stretch of their story. For anyone who knows the studio records from The ConstruKction of Light onwards, it offers a chance to hear how the band sounded in concert in Japan.
