Take a Look in the Mirror
Take a Look in the Mirror is Korn's sixth studio album, released on 21 November 2003 through Epic and Immortal. It followed Untouchables from 2002 and came out in the band's nu metal and alternative metal heartland, with the sound that had defined their rise through the 1990s.
It matters in the band's story as the last Korn studio record to feature the full original line-up. Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch left in February 2005 and did not return until 2013, when The Paradigm Shift appeared. Drummer David Silveria stepped away in December 2006, after a year of touring behind the next album, See You on the Other Side. It was also the final studio album Korn made for Epic and Immortal, so it closes a chapter in more ways than one, and it is well worth hearing as the last album from the original five.
