Live in Texas
Live in Texas is Linkin Park's first live album, released on 18 November 2003 through Warner Bros. Records. It also works as the band's second DVD, so the concert exists as both a film and a record. The audio edition trims the show to 12 of its 17 tracks.
It arrived soon after Meteora, and the setlist draws mainly on that record and the debut, Hybrid Theory, with one track taken from the remix album Reanimation. That makes it a handy snapshot of the band's early years, with the rap-rock and alternative metal of those first two albums played live rather than polished in the studio. It reached number 23 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 1.1 million copies in the United States, which suggests plenty of fans wanted to take the live show home.
