Nothing has changed.
Nothing Has Changed is a David Bowie compilation released on 18 November 2014 through Parlophone in the UK. It came in several formats: a triple CD running in reverse chronological order, a double CD in chronological order, a double LP, and a single CD for select countries. It was the first collection to span his whole career to that point, from his first single, "Liza Jane", in 1964, to "Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)", a new song recorded for the occasion. The title comes from a lyric in "Sunday", from 2002's Heathen.
The triple CD is the one to seek out. Playing his story backwards is a fresh way to hear it, and it adds tracks from Toy, the album he shelved in 2001. Each edition has its own Jonathan Barnbrook cover showing Bowie studying himself in a mirror. Some listeners missed the Tin Machine years and wanted more of the Berlin albums. It reached number nine in the UK, and number five after his death in 2016.
