ChangesNowBowie
ChangesNowBowie is a live album drawn from sessions David Bowie recorded in 1996. The recordings were made for a BBC broadcast marking his 50th birthday, so they capture him at a milestone moment, looking back over his own catalogue in front of an audience.
It first appeared in April 2020 for streaming, then got a limited vinyl and CD release for Record Store Day on 29 August 2020. It sits among the archive releases that followed his studio run, which stretched from the 1960s through to Toy in 2021. If you like hearing Bowie's songs reworked in a live setting rather than polished in the studio, it's a good one to track down.
