Alice in Hell is the debut album from Annihilator, a Canadian thrash metal band, and it came out on 17 April 1989 through Roadrunner Records. It opens a catalogue that has grown to nineteen studio albums, running from this first record through to Metal II in 2022. For anyone tracing the band's story, this is where it begins.

It is also the only Annihilator record of its first decade to feature Randy Rampage on vocals. He did not return until Criteria for a Black Widow in 1999, which makes this album a snapshot of a line-up that stayed apart for ten years. If you want to hear where the band started before the long run of releases that followed, this is the place to begin.
