Waking the Fury is the ninth studio album by Canadian metal band Annihilator, released in 2002 on Steamhammer. It follows Carnival Diablos from the year before and sits in the middle of a long run of records that stretches back to Alice in Hell in 1989.

The album marks the end of an era for the band. It was the last to feature Joe Comeau on vocals, and the last with Russ Bergquist as touring bassist. If you want to hear how Annihilator sounded in that particular line-up, before All for You arrived in 2004, this thrash-leaning record is the place to do it. It is a useful stop for anyone following the band's story album by album.
