Album
Inferno
Inferno is Motörhead's seventeenth studio album, released on 22 June 2004, the same day in the US. It came out on Steamhammer, the band's label for the eighth time, and was their second record to appear in North America and certain other territories through Sanctuary Records and its subsidiary Metal-Is.
It sits in the middle of the band's long run of studio albums, after Hammered in 2002 and ahead of Kiss of Death in 2006. For anyone tracing the group's story beyond the late-seventies and early-eighties classics, it is a good place to hear the traditional heavy metal sound they were still making in the new century.
