Everything Louder Than Everyone Else
Everything Louder Than Everyone Else is Motörhead's sixth live album, released on 9 March 1999. It was recorded at The Docks nightclub in Hamburg on 21 May 1998, and it arrived between the studio albums Snake Bite Love (1998) and We Are Motörhead (2000). It first came out as a two-disc digipak, and a slimline jewel-case edition followed.
The recording is overdub-free, so what you hear is the band as they sounded in the room that night, with no studio tidying afterwards. Lemmy opens by introducing the band and promising the crowd a good kicking, and the set lives up to it. For anyone who knows Motörhead mainly from their studio records, it is a good way to hear the late-nineties line-up working a club audience.
