Album
AmeriKKKant
AmeriKKKant is Ministry's fourteenth studio album, released on 9 March 2018 and their first for Nuclear Blast. It arrived five years after From Beer to Eternity (2013), the longest wait between studio records in the band's history. It is also their first album without guitarist Mike Scaccia since The Last Sucker in 2007. He died in 2012, though he appeared posthumously on its predecessor.
It is a concept album aimed at then-US President Donald Trump, and most of the tracks carry samples of his voice. That puts it in the same vein as the band's earlier run of records aimed at George W. Bush: Houses of the Molé, Rio Grande Blood and The Last Sucker. If you enjoy Ministry at their most pointed and political, delivered in their familiar industrial metal style, this is the record to try.
