Everyday (is Halloween) - The Lost Mixes
Everyday (is Halloween) - The Lost Mixes is an EP from Ministry, released on 30 October 2020 through Cleopatra. It gathers alternative mixes of the band's Halloween-minded track "Everyday Is Halloween", a song that goes back to the early days of Ministry's story, when the group's sound was far closer to synth-pop than to the industrial metal they would later become.
It arrived just before the band's album Moral Hygiene in 2021, and it sits among a long run of releases that stretches from With Sympathy in 1983 to the present day. For anyone who knows Ministry mainly for the harder-edged records, it is a chance to hear how the band's earliest material can be reshaped, and a seasonal curiosity for the Halloween playlist.
