The Last Dubber
The Last Dubber is a remix album from Ministry, released on 15 September 2009 through 13th Planet Records. It takes the material from The Last Sucker, the band's 2007 album, and hands it back in reworked form, so the songs get a second life in an industrial metal setting.
It sits late in the Ministry story, a companion to a record that was part of the band's run through the 2000s, just ahead of Undercover in 2010. For anyone who knows The Last Sucker well, it offers a chance to hear familiar tracks from a different angle, and a useful reminder that Ministry's songs have always been as much about studio reconstruction as raw guitar noise.
