Adios… Puta Madres
Adios… Puta Madres is a live album from Ministry, the industrial metal band, released on 31 March 2009. It was assembled from recordings made at various stops on their farewell tour, billed as the "C U LaTouR", and it works as a souvenir of the band's supposed send-off.
It arrived after a busy run of studio records in the mid-2000s, including Rio Grande Blood, The Last Sucker and Cover Up, so it catches the band at the end of a particularly productive stretch. The track "Señor Peligro" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance at the 52nd Grammy Awards, which says something about how the live material landed. For fans who missed the tour, or who were there and want the noise back in the room, it is a fair record of Ministry in concert.
