Side Trax
Side Trax gathers material from four Ministry side projects of the late 1980s: Pailhead, 1000 Homo DJs, PTP and Acid Horse. It came out on 12 October 2004 on Rykodisc, pulling together EPs that first appeared on Wax Trax! Records. The one exception is PTP's "Show Me Your Spine", which had never been released before.
For anyone following Ministry's story, this is a handy way to hear what Al Jourgensen and his circle were getting up to away from the main band. The standout is the rare version of 1000 Homo DJs' "Supernaut", with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails on vocals. Be aware that the first pressing suffered from poor sound, as the left channel was simply duplicated. Later pressings fixed this, so look for the corrected stereo version.
