Dark Side of the Spoon
Dark Side of the Spoon is the seventh studio album by American industrial metal band Ministry, released on 8 June 1999 on Warner Bros. Records. It followed Filth Pig from 1996 and arrived ahead of Animositisomina in 2003, so it sits in the stretch where the band were firmly established as one of industrial metal's most recognisable names.
The record's best-known track is "Bad Blood", which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance in 2000. That nod is a good reason to start there, and anyone who has followed Ministry from The Land of Rape and Honey through to the mid-nineties will find this a worthwhile chapter to catch up on.
