Significant Other is the second studio album by American nu metal band Limp Bizkit, released in June 1999 on Flip Records. It follows their 1997 debut, Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$, and sees them widening their approach, mixing metal and hip-hop influences with a more melodic feel and less of the hardcore punk edge that marked the first record.

It proved a big commercial step up, reaching number one on the US Billboard 200 and selling at least 16 million copies worldwide. Critics were generally positive, hearing a distinctive sound and a band that had improved on its predecessor. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album, while lead single "Nookie" was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance. It is a good place to hear where rap rock stood at the turn of the millennium.
