Best of Diamond Head

Best of Diamond Head is a compilation from the British heavy metal band, put out by Half Moon on 28 June 1999. It was the band's most thorough attempt at a definitive greatest-hits collection. It draws on their early work and leaves out anything from Death & Progress, which had appeared in the 1990s. Another notable absence is "The Prince", from their 1980 debut Lightning to the Nations. That song is a regular in their live sets and became one of their best-known numbers after Metallica covered it on Garage Inc.
