The Coffin Train
The Coffin Train is the eighth studio album by British heavy metal band Diamond Head, released on 24 May 2019. It followed their self-titled record of 2016 and came out through the label Фоно, in a standard jewel case, a digipack CD and a 12" vinyl edition.
The band backed it with a run of music videos, for the title track, "Belly of the Beast", "The Sleeper" and "Death by Design". The title track's clip was animated by All4band Motion & Design Studio under the direction of Maria Goruleva, which gives it a look of its own. For anyone who has followed Diamond Head from Lightning to the Nations onwards, this is the record that shows where the band stood in the late 2010s, still working in hard rock and heavy metal.
