Time Waits for No Slave is the thirteenth studio album by Napalm Death, the British grindcore band, and it came out on 23 January 2009 through Century Media. It followed Smear Campaign from 2006 and arrived three years before Utilitarian, so it sits right in the middle of the band's long run of records stretching from Scum in 1987 to the present day.

For anyone who knows Napalm Death only from their late-80s beginnings, this is a good way to hear what the band were doing more than two decades on. It is still grindcore, and still committed to it, which says something about a group who had already made a dozen albums by this point. It makes a sensible entry for listeners catching up on their later work.
