Diatribes
Diatribes is the sixth studio album by Napalm Death, the English grindcore band, and it arrived on Earache Records in 1996. It followed Fear, Emptiness, Despair from 1994 and came before Inside the Torn Apart in 1997, so it sits in the middle of a run of records in which the band kept pushing at the edges of extreme metal.
The original release came in several forms: double 10" vinyl, a regular CD, a special digipak CD with room for the Greed Killing EP, and a cassette. Earache returned to it in 2010 with a box set that gathered the album together with Greed Killing and the live record Bootlegged in Japan. That makes it a handy way in for anyone wanting to hear this stretch of the band's story in one place.
