EP
In Tongues We Speak
In Tongues We Speak is a split EP shared by two bands: the English grindcore group Napalm Death and the American metalcore band Coalesce. It came out on 20 January 1997 through Earache Records.
For Napalm Death, it arrived in the middle of a busy stretch. The EP landed after Diatribes in 1996 and shortly before Inside the Torn Apart later in 1997. It's a handy snapshot of the band at that point, set beside a younger American act working at the heavier, more abrasive end of the hardcore scene.
