Harmony Corruption is the third studio album by Napalm Death, released in July 1990 on Earache Records. It follows Scum and From Enslavement to Obliteration, and it is the first record the Birmingham band made as a five-piece. That change in line-up marks a turning point in their story, and the album sits at the point where their grindcore began to lean further towards death metal.

For anyone who knows the band only for their shortest, sharpest blasts, this is a useful place to hear them in a different mould. The genres attached to it, death metal, grindcore and deathgrind, say plenty about the crossover on offer. In the US it came out through Combat Records in December 1990, and it remains a key stop before Utopia Banished in 1992.
