EP
Converge / Napalm Death
Converge / Napalm Death is a split EP pairing the American metalcore band Converge with the English grindcore band Napalm Death. It came out on 1 August 2012, self-released, on 7" vinyl and as a digital download. The artwork comes from Jacob Bannon, Converge's vocalist.
For Napalm Death, it arrived in the same year as their studio album Utilitarian, and it puts their grindcore alongside a band from a neighbouring corner of heavy music. It's a short, sharp meeting of two acts on opposite sides of the Atlantic, and a handy way in for anyone who likes their extremity quick and to the point.
