¡Tré!
¡Tré! is Green Day's eleventh studio album, released on 7 December 2012 through Reprise Records. It closes the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! trilogy, three albums put out between September and December that year. The band recorded it between 14 February and 26 June 2012. The title is a pun on the Spanish "tres" and a nod to drummer Tré Cool, who turned 40 two days after release and appears on the cover.
Musically, it draws on what came before it in the set, following the power pop of ¡Uno! and the garage rock feel of ¡Dos!. That makes it a fitting finale for anyone who has followed the trilogy from the start. It is also the last Green Day album to feature touring guitarist Jason White as a studio performer, so it marks the end of a small chapter in the band's line-up as well as the end of the series. Critics were generally positive about it.
