Awesome as Fuck
Awesome as Fuck is a live album from Green Day, put together from recordings made on the 21st Century Breakdown World Tour of 2009 and 2010. It follows the band's eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown (2009), and captures that record's songs in front of an audience rather than in the studio.
It came out on 22 March 2011 through Reprise Records. The package includes a DVD of a concert filmed at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, and it is also available on Blu-ray. For anyone who knows the band mainly from their studio work, it's a chance to see how the material from that tour was delivered on stage, and a handy document of a long run of shows.
