Prince of Darkness
Prince of Darkness is a four-disc box set from Ozzy Osbourne, released on 22 March 2005 through Epic. The first two discs gather his solo work, mixing studio recordings with live tracks, b-sides, demos and outtakes. Disc three collects his collaborations, while the fourth holds newly recorded cover songs.
It's a useful overview of his solo career, though the details matter. The tracks from Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman come from the 2002 remasters, where the original drum and bass parts were replaced by Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin, following legal action by Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake over unpaid royalties. The Bark at the Moon material is also taken from a remixed 2002 remaster. The covers later appeared separately as Under Cover.
