Album
Out of Exile
Out of Exile is the second studio album by Audioslave, the American rock supergroup, and it came out on 23 May 2005 through Interscope Records. It sits between their self-titled debut in 2002 and the 2006 follow-up, Revelations, so it marks the middle chapter of a three-album run. Musically it blends hard rock, alternative rock and post-grunge.
The record is the only Audioslave album to top the Billboard 200, which says plenty about how well it connected with listeners. Three singles came from it: "Be Yourself", "Your Time Has Come" and "Doesn't Remind Me". That last track earned a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 48th Grammy Awards. If you want to hear the band at the point their sound felt most settled and widely embraced, this is the one to start with.
