Have a Nice Day is the ninth studio album by Bon Jovi, released in September 2005 on Island. John Shanks produced it, with sessions split between Sanctuary Sound II in New Jersey and Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood. It follows Bounce and sits between the band's early-2000s run and Lost Highway, which arrived two years later.

The record was first recorded in the summer of 2004 and pencilled in for early 2005, but misunderstandings between the band and their label held it back. In the meantime the group wrote and recorded more songs, dropped some from the original running order and reworked others. It was worth the wait commercially: it reached number two in both the US and UK, and its 202,000-plus first-week sales in America were then the band's best opening week. Critics were mixed, and some felt Jon Bon Jovi was stretching himself lyrically. Start with the singles "Have a Nice Day" and "Who Says You Can't Go Home".
