Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi are an American rock band from Sayreville, New Jersey, formed in 1983 around singer Jon Bon Jovi and keyboardist David Bryan, with drummer Tico Torres also a long-standing member. Their sound sits where hard rock meets pop, with big choruses built for arenas, and they have been praised for bridging heavy metal and pop with ease. They released their self-titled debut in 1984, and "Runaway" reached the Billboard Top 40.

Slippery When Wet (1986) made them global stars, with "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Livin' on a Prayer" both hitting No. 1 in the US. New Jersey (1988) followed with five Top 10 singles. Keep the Faith (1992) brought "Bed of Roses", while Crush (2000) and "It's My Life" won over a younger audience. Later records added touches of country, and "Who Says You Can't Go Home" won a Grammy. They have sold over 130 million records and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
