What About Now
What About Now is Bon Jovi's twelfth studio album, released on 8 March 2013. John Shanks produced it, and it followed The Circle in the band's catalogue. The record was taken out on the road during the 2013 Because We Can: The Tour.
It matters in the band's story for two reasons. It was the last album to feature lead guitarist Richie Sambora, who left the following month, so it closes a long chapter in the group's sound. It also arrived at the top of the American chart, selling 101,000 copies in its first week and becoming their third consecutive No. 1 there after Lost Highway and The Circle, and their fifth overall. For anyone tracing the band's later years, it is the last record with the guitarist who had shaped their sound from the start.
