Album
Super Collider
Super Collider is Megadeth's fourteenth studio album, released on 4 June 2013 (a few days earlier in Europe). It arrived as the first Megadeth record on Tradecraft, a Universal label set up for frontman Dave Mustaine, and in the US a special edition was sold exclusively through Best Buy.
It follows Th1rt3en and was the first time since Cryptic Writings in 1997 that the band kept the same line-up from one album to the next. It also turned out to be the last to feature drummer Shawn Drover and guitarist Chris Broderick, who both left in November 2014. Disturbed's David Draiman guests on the record. Reviews were mixed, but it debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, which makes it a useful chapter for following the band's path between Endgame and Dystopia.
