Breadline
Breadline is a Japan-only EP from Megadeth, built around the song of the same name, which was the second single from their eighth studio album, Risk. It came out in February 2000 through Toshiba EMI, and it collects several versions of the title track alongside remixes of other songs from Risk and from the band's earlier catalogue.
It sits at the tail end of the Risk era, just before The World Needs a Hero arrived in 2001. Fans who want to hear how the band reworked its own material will find it a curious companion piece. Guitarist Marty Friedman, after leaving Megadeth, later covered the song on his solo album Future Addict.
