Unplugged in Boston
Unplugged in Boston is a live album from Megadeth, recorded as an acoustic show at Bill's Bar in Boston, Massachusetts on 9 May 2001 and captured by the radio station WAAF. It is the band's first acoustic album, and it sits in their story just after The World Needs a Hero, which came out the same year.
The recording was first released in 2006, but only to members of the Megafanclub. A wider release followed in 2021 through Cleopatra Records, giving everyone else a chance to hear it. For anyone who knows Megadeth for their full-volume attack, it's a chance to hear the band stripped back and playing in a small room.
