Waking the Dead
Waking the Dead is the eighth studio album by American hard rock band L.A. Guns, released on 20 August 2002 through Spitfire Records. It arrived a year after Man in the Moon and before Tales From the Strip, and it marked the debut of bass player Adam Hamilton in the line-up.
It is also the last record to feature founder Tracii Guns before his return to the band in 2017, which gives it a particular place in the group's story. The best-known track is "OK, Let's Roll", dedicated to Todd Beamer and the others who rushed the cockpit of Flight 93 during the September 11 attacks. A Japanese edition was planned with an extra song, "Call of the Wild", but it never received an official release, so that track remains out of reach.
