Cocked & Re-Loaded

Cocked & Re-Loaded is a hard rock album from L.A. Guns, released on 1 August 2000 by Deadline Music. As the title suggests, it revisits the band's 1989 record Cocked & Loaded, with the songs re-recorded rather than simply reissued. It also adds a remix of "Rip and Tear", and the album turned up with at least three different covers, which matters if you're hunting for a copy.

It belongs to a stretch when the band was putting out new versions of older material. Its predecessor, Greatest Hits and Black Beauties, took the same approach. That run ended with Man in the Moon, an album of entirely new songs. For anyone curious about how the group approached its late-eighties songs a decade or so on, this is the place to compare them with the originals.
