Cuts
Cuts is an EP by the American band L.A. Guns, released on 2 December 1992 by Polydor. The band recorded it at Red Zone Studios in Burbank, California, and produced it themselves. The standard edition runs to five tracks: three cover versions, one re-recording and one new song. The Japanese edition adds two more covers.
It arrived between Hollywood Vampires (1991) and Vicious Circle (1994), and it marks the first appearance of drummer Michael "Bones" Gershima on an L.A. Guns release. That makes it a useful marker of a shift in the band's rhythm section, while the mix of borrowed songs and reworked material gives a glimpse of what they chose to play when they steered the sessions themselves.
