Hollywood Forever

Hollywood Forever is the tenth studio album by the American hard rock band L.A. Guns, released on 5 June 2012. Andy Johns produced it, and it came out as a CD, a vinyl record and a digital download. Songwriting and pre-production began in late 2011, with recording starting in early 2012 in Los Angeles.

The title was Phil Lewis's idea, chosen to express the band's ties to Los Angeles and to Hollywood in particular. That suits a group who had put the city in their name from the start. The record sits between Tales From the Strip and The Missing Peace in their catalogue, and it is also among the last albums to carry Johns's production work. He died in spring 2013, which gives the record an extra note of interest for anyone following his career.
