Days Go By
Days Go By is the ninth studio album from The Offspring, the Californian punk rock band, released on 26 June 2012. It was produced by Bob Rock and was their last record for Columbia. Work began in 2009, with a 2010 release planned, but the date slipped repeatedly while the band toured and kept writing. Recording eventually took three years across six studios, four in California, one in Hawaii and one in Canada, and wrapped in March 2012.
It follows Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace (2008) and marks a few changes in the line-up story: drummer Pete Parada plays on four songs, and it is the last album to feature bassist Greg K. The band also revisit "Dirty Magic" from their 1992 album Ignition, re-recorded as track nine. The title track led the way, followed by "Cruising California (Bumpin' in My Trunk)" in most territories. It debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200.
