The Offspring
The Offspring's self-titled debut arrived on Nemesis Records on 15 June 1989, the first of eleven studio albums from the American punk rock band. It sits at the very start of a story that would change dramatically with Ignition in 1992 and Smash in 1994, and it shows the group in their earliest form, before those records reshaped their career.
The album fell out of print for years, then returned in 1995 through Nitro and Epitaph Records with a different cover. The two reissues are nearly identical. The band rarely played its songs live once they were touring for Ignition and Smash, which makes this a record for listeners who want to hear where the Offspring began rather than where they ended up.
