Oceania: Live in NYC
Oceania: Live in NYC is a live recording of the Smashing Pumpkins performing their 2012 studio album Oceania in full. It came out on the Rock Fuel label in September 2013, about a year after the studio record appeared.
The studio album was the band's eighth. It was produced by Billy Corgan and Bjorn Thorsrud, and it belonged to the larger Teargarden by Kaleidyscope project. It introduced guitarist Jeff Schroeder and featured bassist Nicole Fiorentino and drummer Mike Byrne, who stepped in for Jimmy Chamberlin. This live set lets you hear that line-up play the songs on stage.
