New Amsterdam: Live at Heineken Music Hall February 4–6, 2003
New Amsterdam: Live at Heineken Music Hall is the second live album from American rock band Counting Crows, released by Geffen on 19 June 2006. It was recorded over three nights, 4 to 6 February 2003, at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
It arrived after Hard Candy, the band's 2002 studio album, and before Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings in 2008, so it catches them in a quieter stretch between studio records. For anyone who knows the band from August and Everything After, it offers a chance to hear their alternative rock songs in a concert setting, captured in a Dutch venue rather than on home turf.
