Album
G N’ R Lies
G N' R Lies is the second studio album by Guns N' Roses, released by Geffen on 29 November 1988. At just over 33 minutes, it is the shortest studio record the American hard rock band have made, which makes it an easy one to put on and play straight through.
It arrived in the wake of Appetite for Destruction and climbed to number two on the US Billboard 200, going on to ship more than five million copies in the States. "Patience", the only single, reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1989. The album also marks the end of an era for the group: it was the last full album with drummer Steven Adler, and the last recorded as a five-piece.
