Appetite for Democracy: Live at the Hard Rock Casino - Las Vegas
Appetite for Democracy: Live at the Hard Rock Casino - Las Vegas captures Guns N' Roses at The Joint in Las Vegas on 21 November 2012, the tenth night of a residency. The show was part of the Appetite for Democracy tour, which marked twenty-five years of Appetite for Destruction and four years of Chinese Democracy. It came out on 1 July 2014 in the US, with the UK and Europe following on 3 November 2014, on Geffen.
It matters in the band's story as their first live video release since the Use Your Illusion pair in 1992. The concert was filmed entirely in 3D, and the cover borrows part of the banned original artwork from Appetite for Destruction. It topped the Billboard music video sales chart and won Best 3D Music Entertainment Feature at the 2015 International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society Awards. Clips of "Welcome to the Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "November Rain" give a taste.
