Evil or Divine: Live in New York City
Evil or Divine: Live in New York City captures Dio on stage in New York City in 2002. It arrived on 1 July 2003 through Eagle Vision, first as a video release on DVD, with a CD version of the concert following in 2005.
The show comes during the touring that followed Killing the Dragon, and just ahead of Master of the Moon in 2004. That places it late in the band's run of studio albums, which began with Holy Diver in 1983. For anyone who knows the band mainly from their 1980s records, it offers a view of how the traditional heavy metal sound held up on a live stage in the early 2000s.
