Everything Will Be Alright in the End is Weezer's ninth studio album, released on 7 October 2014 through Republic Records, the only record they made for the label. It reunited the band with Ric Ocasek, who had produced the Blue Album and the Green Album, and this was the last time he worked with them.

After the electronic pop sheen of Raditude and Hurley, the band went back to a sound closer to their early records. Rivers Cuomo's lyrics deal with father figures, fans and women. Reviews were warm, and it was the band's best-received album since Pinkerton. It reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and "Back to the Shack", "Cleopatra" and "Da Vinci" were released as singles.
