Shadow Zone is the third studio album by Static-X, the American industrial metal band, and it came out on 7 October 2003 on Warner Bros. Records. It followed Wisconsin Death Trip and Machine, and arrived at a time of real upheaval in the group. Drummer Ken Jay left just before the recording sessions, so the album has no official drummer, with Josh Freese handling the parts instead.

It is also the first of two records to feature guitarist Tripp Eisen. The changes in personnel are matched by a change in sound: this is the band's most melodic work, while still sitting firmly within their industrial metal and nu metal framework. If you know them for the harder edges of their earlier albums, it is an intriguing detour, and it shows a group willing to shift its approach rather than repeat itself.
