Pleasures of the Flesh

Pleasures of the Flesh is the second studio album by American thrash metal band Exodus, released on 7 October 1987 through Combat. It follows their debut, Bonded by Blood, from 1985, and it marks a change at the microphone: Steve Souza takes over vocals after Paul Baloff was fired from the band.

That makes it the record to reach for if you want to hear Exodus with a different frontman in place. It sits between the debut and Fabulous Disaster in their run of albums, and it gives a snapshot of the band in a transitional moment. Century Media remastered and reissued it in 1998, for European distribution only, so it has had a second life beyond the original Combat pressing.
