American Assault
American Assault is a Venom EP released in 1985 on the Combat label, issued in the United States that same year. It arrived in the middle of a busy stretch for the band, who had put out At War With Satan in 1984 and followed it with the studio album Possessed in 1985.
For anyone tracing Venom's story, it is a small piece of the mid-eighties puzzle, showing the band's work reaching American listeners through Combat at the time when Welcome to Hell and Black Metal had already set out their stall.
