Fallen Angels
Fallen Angels is the thirteenth studio album by Venom, the English heavy metal band whose genre tags span black metal, thrash metal and heavy metal. It came out on 28 November 2011 through Spinefarm Records.
It arrived three years after Hell and sits in the later stretch of the band's catalogue, a run that began with Welcome to Hell in 1981 and Black Metal in 1982. The record was followed by From the Very Depths in 2015. For listeners who know Venom mainly through their early work, it offers a look at how the group carried on into the 2010s and kept the same blend of styles that first made their name.
